This small collection contains items that once belonged to Dr Woodhouse including his camera, home made episcope, film and photographs taken in and around the City of Leeds Training College and his doctorate thesis. His family thought it fitting that some of his personal items should remain on the site of his place of work.

Items belonged to, Frederick Evelyn Unwin (1895 - 1978) from Kirkby in Ashfield, a student at Leeds Training College, Beckett's Park, 1914-1916. the Owl contains a listing of students and staff on active service 1915-1916. It also includes photographs of the college as the 2nd Northern General Hospital. the handbook can be dated to between 1917 to 1920 by virtue of the staff listing. the panoramic photograph is of the campus this image was used in the college handbook.

On at least two occasions a Committee was set up to organise testimonials of retiring or leaving staff of the City of Leeds Training College. That of Dr Airey in 1933 included the commissioning of a portrait. Miss Simpson began at the College in that year and moved on to another post in 1945. The Committee was made up of Tutors and Students. This testimonial material appears to have originally been kept with City of Leeds Training College Old Students Association papers at BPL/OLD, however at some point they were separated.
