Minutes and letters covering the organisation of Miss Helen M. Simpson's testimonial. This took place while the College was temporarily housed in Scarborough during WW2. The College buildings in Leeds having been once again requisitioned for military use.

In 1939 the college buildings were commandeered for use as the 21st Primary Training Centre and RAMC No. 11 Training Centre facilities. This training gun was found with three others in the attic space of Carnegie Hall in 2004.
