Biographical history

Born 4 February 1893 to Joseph Henry Baxter, a teacher and his wife Annie Morrell. Trained at the City of Leeds Training College ca. 1911-12. Between 1913 and 1920 she taught as Assistant Mistress at Beckett Street Juniors, Beckett Street Boys, Hunslet Carr Girls and Darley Street Mixed Schools.
